We are optimistic that these kids, this generation, will use words and images to change the world for the better. They have already started. Today is National School Walkout–by kids, for kids, about kids–and there was absolutely no question that any QPS student 4th grade and up who wanted to participate would be supported in doing so. We are privileged to help our students learn to express themselves with specificity, creativity, and intent–even when they are silent. Congratulations to all students throughout the United States and around the world who chose to exercise their right of free speech to impact something beyond themselves. #nationalschoolwalkout
